नमां मनुष्या: पश्यन्ति न मां पश्यन्ति देवता: । पापेनापिहित: पाप: पापमेवाभिजायते
na māṁ manuṣyāḥ paśyanti na māṁ paśyanti devatāḥ | pāpenāpihitaḥ pāpaḥ pāpam evābhijāyate ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Không người nào thấy ta, chư thiên cũng chẳng thấy ta.” Nghĩ vậy, kẻ tội lỗi bị tội che phủ lại phạm tội hết lần này đến lần khác, và chỉ sinh vào những ‘bào thai tội lỗi’—những kiếp sinh hèn kém, gây hại.
