न तेषां भिद्यते वृत्तं यज्ञा: स्वाध्यायकर्म च । आचार: कारणं चैव धर्मश्वैकस्त्रयं पुन:
na teṣāṁ bhidyate vṛttaṁ yajñāḥ svādhyāya-karma ca | ācāraḥ kāraṇaṁ caiva dharmaś caikaḥ trayaṁ punaḥ ||
Bhishma nói: Ở những bậc thánh thiện như thế, nếp sống đã thành lập của họ không bao giờ bị gián đoạn—các lễ tế, việc svādhyāya (học và tụng Veda), cùng những bổn phận thiêng liêng khác cũng vậy. Nơi họ, hạnh kiểm, các nguồn thẩm quyền giải minh hạnh kiểm ấy (Veda và śāstra), và dharma không hề đối nghịch; cả ba hòa làm một trong một sự tương hợp duy nhất.
