Mahabharata — Anushasana Parva, Shloka 13
अवृत्ता ये तु भिन्दन्ति श्रुतित्यागपरायणा: । धर्मविद्वेषिणो मन्दा इत्युक्तस्तेषु संशय:
avṛttā ye tu bhindanti śruti-tyāga-parāyaṇāḥ | dharma-vidveṣiṇo mandā ity uktaḥ teṣu saṁśayaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Những kẻ không có hạnh kiểm, phá vỡ khuôn phép đã lập, chuyên tâm vứt bỏ śruti (mặc khải Veda), căm ghét dharma và trí tuệ u mê—đối với hạng người ấy, đã tuyên rằng phải nghi ngờ. Họ xâm phạm ranh giới của pháp hành và kỷ luật tập tục do người hiền dựng giữ; vì thế không thể tin họ làm kẻ dẫn đường trong chân lý và bổn phận.”
