इत्युक्तो5हं शरीरं स्वं ददर्श श्रीसमायुतम्‌ । 'परंतु यह खीर तुमने अपने पैरोंके तलवोंमें नहीं लगायी है। बेटा! तुमने ऐसा क्‍यों किया? तुम्हारा यह कार्य मुझे प्रिय नहीं लगा।” इस प्रकार जब उन्होंने मुझसे प्रसन्नतापूर्वक कहा

ity ukto ’haṁ śarīraṁ svaṁ dadarśa śrī-samāyutam |

Vāyu nói: “Được dạy bảo như thế, ta bỗng thấy chính thân mình rực lên vẻ huy hoàng cát tường.” Trong mạch chuyện, người kể nhớ lại việc được nhắc nhở dịu dàng vì chưa bôi phần kṣīra (sữa ngọt) dâng cúng lên lòng bàn chân; lời khuyên đầy thiện ý ấy trở thành lời răn: điều đã được truyền dạy phải thực hành trọn vẹn, không làm nửa vời, thì sự tinh luyện trong ngoài sẽ hiện bày—tượng trưng bằng ánh quang minh bất chợt của thân thể.
