त्रिवर्गे चापवर्गे च यश:श्रीरोगशान्तिषु । देवतापितृपूजासु संतोष्याश्चैव नो द्विजा:
vāyudeva uvāca | trivarge cāpavarge ca yaśaḥśrīrogaśāntiṣu | devatāpitṛpūjāsu santoṣyāś caiva no dvijāḥ ||
Vāyudeva nói: “Để thành tựu ba mục tiêu của đời sống—dharma, artha, kāma—và cả để đạt giải thoát; để được danh tiếng, phú quý, sức khỏe và dứt bệnh; và vào những lúc cúng tế chư thiên cùng tổ tiên—trong mọi dịp như thế, ta phải làm cho các Bà-la-môn được hoàn toàn mãn nguyện.”
