Shloka 3

भीष्म उवाच एष ते केशव: सर्वमाख्यास्यति महामति: । व्युष्टिं ब्राह्मणपूजायां दृष्टव्युष्टिमहाव्रत:

bhīṣma uvāca | eṣa te keśavaḥ sarvam ākhyāsyati mahāmatiḥ | vyuṣṭiṃ brāhmaṇa-pūjāyāṃ dṛṣṭa-vyuṣṭi-mahāvrataḥ ||

Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi bậc trí, Keshava này sẽ giảng cho con mọi điều. Ngài là đấng giữ đại nguyện, đã tận mắt chứng nghiệm kết quả chân thật và lợi ích phát sinh từ việc tôn kính, thờ phụng các Bà-la-môn; vì thế chính Ngài sẽ nói rõ cho con về việc này.”
