सोमेन दत्ता भार्या मे त्वया चापद्ताद्य वै | इत्युक्तो वचनात् तस्य नारदेन जलेश्वर:
somena dattā bhāryā me tvayā cāpahṛtādyavai | ity ukto vacanāt tasya nāradena jaleśvaraḥ ||
Arjuna nói: “Vợ ta đã được Soma ban cho, vậy mà hôm nay lại bị ngươi mang đi.” Bị nói thẳng như thế—dựa theo lời tường thuật của Nārada—Chúa tể của Nước phải đối diện với lời buộc tội, làm nổi bật thế giằng co đạo lý giữa quyền hôn phối chính đáng và sự lạm dụng quyền lực.
