सा च तीव्रं तपस्तेपे महाभागा यशस्विनी । उतथ्यार्थ तु चार्वज्ी परं नियममास्थिता

Transliteration

sā ca tīvrāṁ tapas tepe mahābhāgā yaśasvinī | utathyārthaṁ tu cārv-aṅgī paraṁ niyamam āsthitā ||

Translation

Nàng—rạng danh và phúc đức—đã thực hành khổ hạnh nghiêm khắc. Vì mong được Utathya làm phu quân, người thiếu nữ tay chân thanh tú ấy nương theo kỷ luật tự chế cao nhất và bắt đầu cuộc tu khổ hạnh mãnh liệt.
