अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
ऋषीणामभिगम्यश्न सूत्रकर्ता सुतस्तव । मत्प्रसादाद् द्विजश्रेष्ठ भविष्यति न संशय:
ṛṣīṇām abhigamyaśna sūtrakartā sutas tava | matprasādād dvijaśreṣṭha bhaviṣyati na saṁśayaḥ ||
“Con trai của ngươi sẽ đến gần và phụng sự các bậc hiền triết, và sẽ trở thành người soạn sūtra. Nhờ ân sủng của ta, nó nhất định sẽ là bậc tối thắng trong hàng nhị sinh—không còn nghi ngờ gì.”
