अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
वेदशास्त्रपुराणोक्ता: पञ्चैता गतय: स्मृता: । त्वत्प्रसादाद्धि लभ्यन्ते न लभ्यन्तेडन्यूथा विभो
vedaśāstrapurāṇoktāḥ pañcaitā gatayaḥ smṛtāḥ | tvatprasādād dhi labhyante na labhyante ’nyathā vibho prabho ||
Năm cảnh giới được nói trong Veda, các śāstra và Purāṇa được truyền nhớ như lời chứng có thẩm quyền. Nhưng chúng chỉ đạt được nhờ ân sủng của Ngài, hỡi Đấng Chủ Tể thấm khắp; ngoài ra thì không thể đạt được.
