तां च धर्मेण सम्प्राप्प पालयेयमतन्द्रित: । चतुर्थ तु वरं याचे त्वामहं द्विजसत्तम

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | tāṃ ca dharmeṇa samprāpya pālayeyam atandritaḥ | caturthaṃ tu varaṃ yāce tvām ahaṃ dvijasattama ||

Translation

Bhishma nói: “Đã đạt được (đất nước/quyền tối thượng) theo đúng dharma, ta sẽ bảo hộ và trị vì không hề lơ là. Nhưng, ô bậc tối thắng trong hàng Bà-la-môn, ta còn xin Ngài ban cho ta ân huệ thứ tư nữa.”
