ब्राह्मणा: सर्वलोकानां महान्तो धर्मसेतव: । धनत्यागाभिरामाक्ष वाक्संयमरताक्षू ये
Transliteration
brāhmaṇāḥ sarvalokānāṁ mahānto dharmasetavaḥ | dhanatyāgābhirāmāś ca vāksaṁyamaratāś ca ye ||
Translation
Bhishma nói: “Các Bà-la-môn thật vĩ đại—như những cây cầu gìn giữ ranh giới của dharma cho mọi cõi. Họ vui trong sự xả bỏ của cải, và chuyên tâm vào việc tiết chế lời nói.”
