सोमादित्यान्वया: सर्वे राघवा: कुरवस्तथा । पठन्ति शुचयो नित्यं सावित्रीं प्राणिनां गतिम्
somādityānvayāḥ sarve rāghavāḥ kuravas tathā | paṭhanti śucayo nityaṃ sāvitrīṃ prāṇināṃ gatim ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Mọi bậc quân vương sinh trong dòng dõi Mặt Trời—dòng Rāghu—và cũng như các vua thuộc tộc Kuru, với hạnh kiểm thanh tịnh, từ xưa đến nay đều hằng ngày trì tụng thần chú Sāvitrī (Gāyatrī). Gāyatrī được tuyên xưng là nơi nương tựa tối thượng và con đường cứu cánh của muôn loài hữu tình.”
