याधातथ्येन सिद्धस्य इतिहासं पुरातनम्‌ | पराशरमतं दिव्यं शकाय कथितं पुरा

Transliteration

yādhātathyena siddhasya itihāsaṃ purātanam | parāśaramataṃ divyaṃ śakāya kathitaṃ purā ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Đây là một thánh sử cổ xưa, chân thật, do hiền thánh Vedavyāsa—bậc đã thành tựu—truyền dạy đúng như thực. Trong đó trình bày giáo pháp thần diệu của Parāśara; và thuở trước, giáo huấn ấy từng được truyền cho Indra.”
