ऋचीकतनयश्चोग्रो जमदग्नि: प्रतापवान्‌ | धनेश्वरस्य गुरव: सप्तैते उत्तराश्रिता:

Transliteration

ṛcīkatanayaś cograḥ jamadagniḥ pratāpavān | dhaneśvarasya guravaḥ saptaite uttarāśritāḥ—atriḥ, bhagavān vasiṣṭhaḥ, maharṣiḥ kaśyapaḥ, gautamaḥ, bharadvājaḥ, kuśikavaṃśī viśvāmitraḥ, ca ṛcīkanandanaḥ pratāpavān ugra-svabhāvaḥ jamadagniḥ—ete sapta uttaradiśi nivāsinaḥ kuberasya guravaḥ (ṛtvijaḥ) ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Jamadagni, người con của Ṛcīka, uy mãnh và rực sáng, bản tính cương liệt. Bảy bậc hiền triết này—Atri, bậc đáng tôn Vasiṣṭha, đại tiên Kaśyapa, Gautama, Bharadvāja, Viśvāmitra thuộc dòng Kuśika, và Jamadagni hùng lực, con của Ṛcīka—cư ngụ ở miền phương Bắc và làm các bậc đạo sư tế tự (tư tế nghi lễ) cho Kubera, Chúa Tể Tài Bảo.”
