अत्रे: पुत्रश्न धर्मात्मा ऋषि: सारस्वतस्तथा । वरुणस्यर्त्विज: सप्त पश्षचिमां दिशमाश्रिता:
atreḥ putraś ca dharmātmā ṛṣiḥ sārasvatas tathā | varuṇasyartvijaḥ sapta paścimāṁ diśam āśritāḥ || dṛḍheyuḥ ṛteyuḥ kīrtimān parivyādhaḥ sūryakā-sadṛśa-tejasvī ekataḥ dvitā tritā tathā dharmātmā atreḥ putraḥ sārasvata-muniḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Trong số họ có con trai của Atri, một bậc hiền giả tâm hồn chính trực, và hiền sĩ Sārasvata. Bảy vị ấy là các ṛtvij (tư tế chủ lễ) của Varuṇa, cư ngụ ở phương Tây—Dṛḍheyu, Ṛteyu, Kīrtimān, Parivyādha, vị rực sáng như mặt trời, cùng ba người mang tên Ekata, Dvita và Trita.
