महेन्द्रगुरव: सप्त प्राचीं वै दिशमाश्रिता: । प्रयत: कीर्तयेदेतान्‌ शक्रलोके महीयते

Transliteration

mahendraguravaḥ sapta prācīṃ vai diśam āśritāḥ | prayataḥ kīrtayed etān śakraloke mahīyate ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Bảy vị hiền triết được gọi là các bậc Thầy của Mahendra cư ngụ ở phương Đông. Người nào thanh tịnh, giữ kỷ luật, và cung kính xưng tụng danh các ngài, sẽ được tôn vinh và địa vị cao quý trong cõi của Śakra (Indra).”
