शान्तिकं पौष्टिक॑ रक्षा शत्रुघ्न भयनाशनम् | जप्यं यद् ब्रह्म॒समितं तद् भवान् वक्तुमहति
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | śāntikaṁ pauṣṭikaṁ rakṣā śatrughnaṁ bhayanāśanam | japyaṁ yad brahmasammitaṁ tad bhavān vaktum arhati ||
Yudhiṣṭhira thưa: “Xin ngài chỉ dạy cho con mantra thích hợp để trì tụng, đem lại an bình và thịnh vượng, ban sự hộ trì, diệt kẻ thù và trừ nỗi sợ—một mantra được tôn kính như ngang hàng với Veda. Xin ngài từ bi tuyên thuyết.”
