भूतावासो वासुदेव: सर्वासुनिलयोडनल: । दर्पहा दर्पदो दृप्तो दुर्धरोडथापराजित:
bhūtāvāso vāsudevaḥ sarvāsunilayo 'nalaḥ | darpahā darpado dṛpto durdharo 'thāparājitaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Ngài là nơi cư ngụ của muôn loài; Ngài là Vāsudeva, Đấng Chúa tể thần linh thấm khắp và bao trùm thế gian. Ngài là chỗ nương tựa nơi sinh lực của mọi hữu tình an trú, và Ngài là ‘Anala’, quyền năng vô lượng. Ngài phá tan lòng kiêu mạn của kẻ bước theo đường phi nghĩa; Ngài ban dũng khí thanh tịnh và sự nâng đỡ cho những người sùng kính; Ngài luôn hoan hỷ trong niềm an lạc, khó nắm bắt và giữ trọn trong tim, nhưng tuyệt nhiên không ai khuất phục được.”
