भगवान् भगहानन्दी वनमाली हलायुध: । आदित्यो ज्योतिरादित्य: सहिष्णुर्गतिसत्तम:
bhagavān bhagahānandī vanamālī halāyudhaḥ | ādityo jyotirādityaḥ sahiṣṇur gatisattamaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Ngài là Bhagavān, Đấng Thế Tôn—bậc sở hữu và ban phát mọi uy đức; là Bhagahā, đấng đôi khi đoạt bớt phú quý để tình yêu của tín đồ thêm sâu; là Ānandī, hiện thân của an lạc tối thượng; là Vanamālī, đấng mang vòng hoa rừng; là Halāyudha, đấng cầm vũ khí là lưỡi cày (Balarāma); là Āditya (Vāmana); là Jyotirāditya, ánh quang rực rỡ ngự trong mặt trời; là Sahiṣṇu, bậc nhẫn chịu mọi đối đãi; và là Gatisattama, nơi nương tựa và đích đến tối thượng của muôn loài.
