विस्तार: स्थावरस्थाणु: प्रमाणं बीजमव्ययम् । अर्थोडनर्थो महाकोशो महाभोगो महाधन:
vistāraḥ sthāvarasthāṇuḥ pramāṇaṃ bījam avyayam | artho 'nartho mahākośo mahābhogo mahādhanaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Ngài là sự quảng đại bao trùm khắp—là chỗ nương tựa bền vững của mọi vật cố định, bất động. Ngài chính là chuẩn mực của tri thức, là hạt giống–nguyên nhân bất hoại của thế gian. Ngài là “lợi ích” được muôn loài cầu xin (vì là hình thái của an lạc), mà cũng là “vô sở cầu” (vì viên mãn, không thiếu gì). Ngài là chủ của kho tàng lớn, là đấng thọ hưởng niềm vui chân thật tối thượng, và chính là của cải tối thượng.
