ऋषय : पितरो देवा महाभूतानि धातव: । जड़माजड़मं चेदं जगन्नारायणोद्धवम्,ऋषि, पितर, देवता, पञठ्च महाभूत, धातुएँ और स्थावर-जंगमात्मक सम्पूर्ण जगत्--ये सब नारायणसे ही उत्पन्न हुए हैं
ṛṣayaḥ pitaro devā mahābhūtāni dhātavaḥ | jaḍam ajaḍamaṃ cedaṃ jagan nārāyaṇodbhavam ||
Bhīṣma nói: Các bậc hiền triết, tổ tiên, chư thiên, năm đại nguyên tố và các nguyên lý cấu thành—quả thật toàn thể vũ trụ này, cả vô tri lẫn hữu tình—đều phát sinh từ Nārāyaṇa.
