Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
दरिद्रं व्याधितं दीनमध्वना परिकर्शितम् | पतिं पुत्रमिवोषपास्ते सा नारी धर्मभागिनी
daridraṁ vyādhitaṁ dīnam adhvanā parikarśitam | patiṁ putram ivoṣapāste sā nārī dharmabhāginī ||
Maheśvara phán: Dẫu chồng nghèo khó, bệnh tật, khốn cùng và hao mòn vì nhọc nhằn đường xa, người phụ nữ nào phụng sự chồng như phụng sự chính con trai mình, thì thật là kẻ đồng phần với dharma—tham dự vào điều chính trực bằng sự chăm nom bền bỉ và lòng tận tụy trung thành.
