कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity
न हि प्राणै: प्रियतमं लोके किंचन विद्यते । तस्मात् प्राणिदया कार्या यथा55त्मनि तथा परे ।।
na hi prāṇaiḥ priyatamaṃ loke kiṃcana vidyate | tasmāt prāṇi-dayā kāryā yathātmani tathā pare ||
“Trong đời này, không có gì thân thiết hơn hơi thở sinh mạng. Vì thế phải thực hành lòng thương đối với mọi loài hữu tình: như ta mong được người khác đối đãi bằng nhân hậu và che chở cho chính mình, thì cũng hãy đem điều ấy mà đối đãi với kẻ khác.”
