कालयुक्तधर्मविवेकः
Discerning Dharma in Accord with Time
जिनके मुँहसे कभी शठतापूर्ण बात नहीं निकलती, जो विरोधयुक्त वाणीका त्याग करते हैं और सदा सौम्य (कोमल) वाणी बोलते हैं, वे मनुष्य स्वर्गगामी होते हैं ।।
na kopād vyāharanti ye vācaṃ hṛdayadāraṇīm | sāntvaṃ vadanti kruddhā api te narāḥ svargagāminaḥ ||
Những ai, dù đang giận dữ, cũng không thốt ra lời làm xé nát lòng người, mà trái lại nói lời vỗ về, hòa giải ngay trong cơn giận—những người ấy được nói là đạt đến cõi trời. Ý nghĩa đạo đức ở đây là: làm chủ lời nói, nhất là khi bị khiêu khích, là dấu hiệu của dharma và dẫn đến số phận cát tường.
