Fruits of Disparaging vs. Observing Dharma; Marks of Good Conduct
एतै: कर्मफलैदेवि न्यूनजातिकुलोद्धव: । शूद्रो5प्यागमसम्पन्नो द्विजो भवति संस्कृत:
etaiḥ karmaphalaiḥ devi nyūna-jāti-kulodbhavaḥ | śūdro 'py āgama-sampanno dvijo bhavati saṃskṛtaḥ ||
Maheshvara nói: “Hỡi Nữ Thần, nhờ sức mạnh của những quả báo nghiệp này, ngay cả một Śūdra—dẫu sinh trong địa vị thấp và gia tộc hèn—cũng có thể ở một đời khác trở thành ‘người hai lần sinh’ (dvija): đầy đủ tri thức kinh điển và được thanh luyện bởi các nghi lễ thánh (saṃskāra) đúng pháp.”
