Fruits of Disparaging vs. Observing Dharma; Marks of Good Conduct
त्रेताग्निमन्त्रविहितो वैश्यो भवति वै द्विज: । स वैश्य: क्षत्रियकुले शुचौ महति जायते
tretāgnimantravihito vaiśyo bhavati vai dvijaḥ | sa vaiśyaḥ kṣatriyakule śucau mahati jāyate |
Maheshvara phán: “Một Vaiśya được thánh hiến đúng pháp bằng các thần chú để phụng sự ba ngọn lửa thiêng sẽ trở thành ‘dvija’ (nhị sinh). Vaiśya ấy rồi sẽ sinh vào một dòng dõi Kṣatriya thanh tịnh và hiển hách.”
