इन्द्रेण च पुरा व्र॒ज॑ क्षिप्तं श्रीकाड्क्षिणा मम । दग्ध्वा कण्ठं तु तद् यातं तेन श्रीकण्ठता मम
Translation
“Thuở xưa, Indra vì ham muốn đoạt lấy vinh quang của ta đã phóng lưỡi tầm sét (vajra) vào ta. Tầm sét ấy thiêu cháy cổ họng ta rồi bay đi. Bởi vậy ta được biết đến với danh hiệu ‘Śrīkaṇṭha’.”
