Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ

Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony

उत्पादितं वृषाड्केन दीप्तज्वलनसंनिभम्‌ | दत्तं भगवता तुभ्य॑ दुर्धर्ष तेजसाद्भुतम्‌

utpāditaṃ vṛṣāṅkena dīptajvalanasaṃnibham | dattaṃ bhagavatā tubhya durdharṣaṃ tejasādbhutam ||

Vāsudeva nói: “Thần khí ấy, rực sáng như ngọn lửa bùng cháy, do chính Đấng mang dấu bò (Śiva) tạo ra và ban cho ngươi. Nó mang hào quang kỳ diệu, không thể chống cự, không thể khuất phục—chính là ân tứ mà Śaṅkara đã trao thuở trước, sau khi Ngài giết con quỷ kiêu mạn từng trú trong nước.”
