Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
यत् तद् भगवता पूर्व दत्त चक्रं तवानघ । जलान्तरचरं हत्वा दैत्यं च बलगर्वितम्
yat tad bhagavatā pūrva datta cakraṁ tavānagha | jalāntaracaraṁ hatvā daityaṁ ca balagarvitam ||
Vāsudeva nói: “Hỡi bậc vô tội, chiếc đĩa ấy—mà Đấng Thế Tôn từng ban cho ngươi sau khi Ngài giết con quỷ kiêu cuồng, say sức mạnh, vốn ẩn hiện trong lòng nước—chính do Vṛṣadhvaja (Śiva) tự tay tạo ra rồi trao cho ngươi. Thần khí ấy rực cháy như lửa, mang vẻ huy hoàng kỳ diệu và không gì cưỡng nổi.”
