Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
शुभाशुभान्वितान् भावान् विसृजन् संक्षिपन्नपि । आस्ते देव्या सदाचिन्त्यो य॑ प्रार्थयसि शत्रुहन्
śubhāśubhānvitān bhāvān visṛjan saṅkṣipann api | āste devyā sadācintyo yaṃ prārthayasi śatruhan ||
Vāsudeva nói: “Hỡi bậc sát địch, Đấng mà Ngài cầu nguyện—vị Chúa muôn đời khó lường, ngự cùng Nữ thần—vẫn ở đây, không ngừng khơi dậy những tâm niệm cát tường và chế ngự hay tiêu dung những tâm niệm bất tường. Bởi vậy, Śaṅkara, kho tàng quang huy và khổ hạnh, là nguồn của an tĩnh nội tâm và là kẻ diệt trừ dục vọng.”
