Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
गोचारिणो<5थाश्मकुट्टा दन्तोलूखलिकास्तथा । मरीचिपा: फेनपाश्चव तथैव मृगचारिण:
gocāriṇo ’tha aśmakuṭṭā dantolūkhalikās tathā | marīcipāḥ phenapāś ca tathaiva mṛgacāriṇaḥ ||
Vāsudeva nói: “Có người phát nguyện phụng sự bò, sống và lang thang cùng đàn bò. Có người ăn thức ăn nghiền trên đá; có kẻ thậm chí dùng răng làm cối chày. Có người sống bằng cách ‘uống’ ánh nắng và bọt nước; và cũng vậy, nhiều hiền triết nhận lời nguyện sống như nai, rong ruổi trong bầy nai.”
