Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
देवपत्न्यो देवकन्या देवमातर एव च | मन्वन्तराणि गावश्न चन्द्रमा: सविता हरि:
devapatnyo devakanyā devamātara eva ca | manvantarāṇi gāvaś ca candramāḥ savitā hariḥ ||
Vāsudeva nói: “Các phu nhân của chư thần, các nữ thần, và cả những bậc mẫu thân của chư thần; các Manvantara nối tiếp và đàn bò; Mặt Trăng, Mặt Trời và Hari—tất thảy cũng đều phải được tôn kính.”
