Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ

Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony

चारुदेष्ण: सुचारुश्ष चारुवेशो यशोधर: । चारुश्रवाश्लारुयशा: प्रद्युम्न: शम्भुरेव च

Cārudeṣṇaḥ sucāruś ca cāruveśo yaśodharaḥ | Cāruśravāś cāruyaśāḥ pradyumnaḥ śambhur eva ca ||

Vāsudeva thưa: “Hỡi Madhusūdana, Cārudeṣṇa, Sucāru, Cāruveśa, Yaśodhara, Cāruśravā, Cāruyaśā, Pradyumna và Śambhu—đó là những người con cao quý, dũng liệt của ta. Như Người đã ban cho ta những người con ấy qua thai của hoàng hậu Rukmiṇī, xin cũng ban cho ta con cái.”
