शक्र उवाच कः पुनर्भवने हेतुरीशे कारणकारणे । येन शरवददृतेडन्यस्मात्‌ प्रसादं नाभिकाड्क्षसि

Transliteration

śakra uvāca: kaḥ punar bhavane hetur īśe kāraṇa-kāraṇe | yena śaravad adṛṣṭe ’nyasmāt prasādaṁ nābhikāṅkṣasi ||

Translation

Śakra (Indra) hỏi: “Bạch Ngài, bậc Nhân của mọi nhân—đâu là lý do và bằng chứng cho niềm xác tín của Ngài về sự hiện hữu và tối thượng của Śiva, Chúa tể vũ trụ, đến mức ngoài Śiva ra Ngài không tìm cầu ân huệ hay ân sủng từ bất cứ thần linh nào khác?”
