दिवसकरशशाड्कवद्िदीप्तं त्रिभुवनसारमसारमाद्यमेकम् । अजरममरमप्रसाद्य रुद्रं जगति पुमानिह को लभेत शान्तिम्
divākarāśaśāṅkavahnidīptaṃ tribhuvanasāram asāram ādyam ekam | ajaram amaram aprasādya rudraṃ jagati pumān iha ko labheta śāntim ||
Vāsudeva nói: “Đấng rực sáng nhờ hào quang của mặt trời, mặt trăng và lửa; là tinh túy của ba cõi, ngoài Ngài không còn ‘tinh túy’ nào cao hơn; là nguyên nhân đầu tiên của vũ trụ, độc nhất vô nhị, vô sinh và bất tử—nếu chưa làm đẹp lòng Đức Rudra ấy bằng lòng sùng kính, thì người nào trong đời này có thể đạt được an lạc?”
