Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
अनेककटिपादश्न अनेकोदरवकक््त्रधृक् । अनेकपाणिपार्श्श्ष अनेकगणसंवृत:
aneka-kaṭi-pāda-śna anekodara-vaktra-dhṛk | aneka-pāṇi-pārśva aneka-gaṇa-saṁvṛtaḥ ||
Vāsudeva nói: “Ngài có muôn hình vạn trạng—hông và chân nhiều vô kể; mang vô số bụng và mặt. Tay và sườn cũng không sao đếm hết, và các đoàn tùy tùng vây quanh Ngài bốn phía.” Trong mạch văn, câu kệ gợi nỗi kinh ngạc trước một hiện diện siêu phàm, nhiều chi thể, đồng thời nhấn mạnh bài học đạo lý: quyền thế và hình tướng thế gian đều vô thường; lòng tôn kính chân thật hướng về trật tự thiêng liêng bao trùm mọi loài.
