Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
छागशार्दूलरूपश्न अनेकमृगरूपधृक् । अण्डजानां च दिव्यानां वपुर्धारयते भव:
chāgaśārdūlarūpaś ca anekamṛgarūpadhṛk | aṇḍajānāṃ ca divyānāṃ vapur dhārayate bhavaḥ ||
Vāsudeva nói: “Bhava (Śiva) mang thân tướng muôn hình—có khi hiện làm dê, có khi hiện làm hổ; Ngài cũng nhận hình dạng các loài thú rừng khác nhau, và cả hình tướng những loài chim thần diệu. Lời dạy ấy nêu rõ sự hiện diện khắp nơi và năng lực biến hóa của Đấng Chúa Tể, đồng thời mời gọi lòng tôn kính đối với sự sống trong mọi biểu hiện.”
