Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
यस्य रूपाण्यनेकानि प्रवदन्ति मनीषिण: । स्थानानि च विचित्राणि प्रसादाक्षाप्पनेकश:
yasya rūpāṇy anekāni pravadanti manīṣiṇaḥ | sthānāni ca vicitrāṇi prasādākṣā apy anekaśaḥ ||
Các bậc hiền triết tuyên rằng Thượng Đế Śaṅkara mang vô số hình tướng. Chốn ngự của Ngài kỳ diệu, muôn vẻ; ngay cả ân huệ do lòng từ mẫn ban xuống cũng hiển lộ theo nhiều cách khác nhau—dạy rằng thần tính không thể bị giam trong một dáng hình, một nơi chốn, hay một lối ban phúc duy nhất.
