Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
युगे युगे तु कृष्णेन तोषितो वै महेश्वर: । भकक्त्या परमया चैव प्रीतश्चैव महात्मन:,श्रीकृष्णने प्रत्येक युगमें महेश्वरको संतुष्ट किया है। महात्मा श्रीकृष्णकी परम भक्तिसे वे सदा प्रसन्न रहते हैं
yuge yuge tu kṛṣṇena toṣito vai maheśvaraḥ | bhaktyā paramayā caiva prītaś caiva mahātmanaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Qua mỗi thời đại, Mahēśvara (Śiva) quả thật được Kṛṣṇa làm cho thỏa lòng. Nhờ lòng bhakti tối thượng của Kṛṣṇa, Đại Chúa luôn hân hoan—cho thấy sự sùng kính bền bỉ, lặp lại qua từng kỷ nguyên, là con đường muôn thuở để đón nhận ân sủng thần linh.
