Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
स च पिष्टरसस्तात न मे प्रीतिमुपावहत् । ततो5हमन्रुवं बाल्याज्जननीमात्मनस्तदा
sa ca piṣṭarasas tāta na me prītim upāvahat | tato 'ham anruvaṃ bālyāj jananīm ātmanaḥ tadā ||
Và thứ thức ăn sền sệt như cháo ấy, hỡi người thân yêu, chẳng đem lại cho ta chút thỏa lòng nào. Vì thế, ngay từ thuở ấu thơ, khi ấy ta đã thưa với chính mẹ mình.
