अध्याय १३२ — कर्मणा मनसा वाचा: स्वर्गमार्गः तथा आयुर्विपाकः
Adhyāya 132 — The path to heaven through deed, mind, and speech; karmic results for lifespan
श्रीरुवाच प्रकीर्ण भाजनं यत्र भिन्नभाण्डमथासनम् । योषितश्वैव हन्यते कश्मलोपहते गृहे
śrīr uvāca—prakīrṇa-bhājanaṃ yatra bhinna-bhāṇḍam atha āsanam | yoṣitaś caiva hanyate kaśmalopahate gṛhe ||
Śrī (Lakṣmī) nói: “Trong một ngôi nhà mà đồ đạc vương vãi, dụng cụ bể vỡ, cả chỗ ngồi cũng rách nát, và nơi phụ nữ bị đánh đập, lăng nhục—ngôi nhà ấy bị tội lỗi làm cho ô uế. Từ một gia thất đã bị vấy bẩn như vậy, vào những dịp lễ hội và ngày hành trì thiêng liêng, chư thiên và tổ tiên đều quay lưng trở về trong thất vọng; họ không thọ nhận sự thờ phụng dâng tại đó.”
