श्रूयतां तस्य दानस्य यादृशो गुणविस्तर: । कृतं तेन महच्छाद्धं वर्षाणीह त्रयोदश

Transliteration

śrūyatāṁ tasya dānasya yādṛśo guṇavistaraḥ | kṛtaṁ tena mahācchāddhaṁ varṣāṇīha trayodaśa ||

Translation

Viśvāmitra nói: “Hãy lắng nghe sự cao quý và phạm vi công đức rộng lớn của việc bố thí ấy. Nhờ món thí đó, ngay trong đời này, người ấy đã như thể hoàn thành một đại lễ śrāddha dâng lên các Pitṛ, kéo dài mười ba năm.”
