उपवासे बलौ चापि ताम्रपात्रं विशिष्यते । बलिकभभिक्षा तथार्घ्य च पितृणां च तिलोदकम्‌

Transliteration

Baladeva uvāca: upavāse balau cāpi tāmrāpātraṁ viśiṣyate | balikabhikṣā tathārghyaṁ ca pitṝṇāṁ ca tilodakam |

Translation

Baladeva nói: “Trong các nghi lễ có việc trai giới và trong các lễ vật bali, bình bằng đồng được xem là đặc biệt thù thắng. Đồ cúng, bố thí, lễ arghya và nước pha mè dâng cho các Pitṛ nên được trao qua bình đồng; nếu không, quả phúc sẽ trở nên rất ít. Đây được truyền dạy như một điều tối mật. Ai làm đúng như vậy thì chư thiên hoan hỷ.”
