Adhyāya 122 — Śruta-vṛtta-yukta Brāhmaṇa and the Ethics of Dāna

कीट उवाच इदं तदतुलं स्थानमीप्सितं दशभिर्गुणै: । यदहं प्राप्य कीटत्वमागतो राजपुत्रताम्
kīṭa uvāca idaṃ tad atulaṃ sthānam īpsitaṃ daśabhir guṇaiḥ | yad ahaṃ prāpya kīṭatvam āgato rājaputratām ||
Con Sâu nói: “Bạch Thế Tôn! Hôm nay con đã đạt được địa vị vô song mà con hằng khao khát—dẫu phải đợi đến mười kiếp cũng nguyện. Nhờ ân của ngài, tuy vì lỗi của chính mình mà con từng sa vào thân sâu bọ, nay con đã đạt đến thân phận một vương tử.”
