तत्र शंखपताके द्वे युगान्तं कल्पमेव च । अयुतायुतं तथा पद्म समुद्र च तथा वसेत्‌

Transliteration

tatra śaṅkha-patāke dve yugāntaṁ kalpam eva ca | ayutāyutaṁ tathā padma samudraṁ ca tathā vaset ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Ở cõi cao ấy, người giữ trọn lời nguyện được nói là cư ngụ trong những khoảng thời gian mênh mông—hai ‘Śaṅkha’ và hai ‘Patākā’, một Yugānta, một Kalpa, một Ayutāyuta, một Padma, thậm chí một ‘Samudra’—ngụ ý sự lưu trú dài dằng dặc nơi Brahmaloka như quả báo của dharma dựa trên giới nguyện.”
