मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
स तस्मै दर्शन प्राप्तो दिवसे दिवसे भवेत् | वहाँ वह प्रलयकालीन अग्निके समान तेजस्वी शरीर धारण करके असंख्य वर्षोतक एक लाख एक हजार करोड़ वर्षोतक निवास करता हुआ प्रतिदिन देवदानव-सम्मानित भगवान् रुद्रको प्रणाम करता है। वे भगवान् उसे नित्य-प्रति दर्शन देते रहते हैं ।।
sa tasmai darśana-prāpto divase divase bhavet | tatra sa pralaya-kālīnāgni-samāna-tejasvī śarīraṃ dhārayitvā asaṅkhyeyāni varṣa-śatāni (śata-sahasrāṇi) nivasan pratidinaṃ deva-dānava-sammānitaṃ bhagavantaṃ rudraṃ praṇamati | sa bhagavān tasmai nitya-prati darśanaṃ dadāti || divase dvādaśe yas tu prāpte vai prāśnute haviḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Với người ấy, việc được thấy Thánh Nhan của Ngài trở thành điều chắc chắn mỗi ngày. Ở đó, mang thân rực sáng như lửa thời đại hủy diệt, người ấy trú ngụ qua những thời kỳ không thể đếm; và mỗi ngày cúi lạy Đức Rudra, đấng được chư thiên và loài quỷ thần tôn kính. Đấng Cát Tường ấy lại ban cho người ấy sự hiện diện của Ngài ngày qua ngày. Và đến ngày thứ mười hai, khi ngày ấy tới, người ấy thọ dụng phần havis—lễ vật cúng tế.”
