सदा द्वादशमासान्‌ वै सत्यव्रतपरायण: । तस्य लोका: शुभा दिव्या देवराजर्षिपूजिता:

Transliteration

sadā dvādaśa-māsān vai satya-vrata-parāyaṇaḥ | tasya lokāḥ śubhā divyā deva-rāja-ṛṣi-pūjitāḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: Người nào suốt mười hai tháng bền lòng chuyên chú vào lời thệ nguyện về chân thật, sẽ đạt đến những cõi giới cát tường và thiêng liêng—những cảnh giới được chư thiên, các rāja-ṛṣi và deva-ṛṣi tôn kính. Trọng tâm đạo đức ở đây là: chân thật được gìn giữ như một kỷ luật lâu dài sẽ trực tiếp đưa đến sự thành tựu tâm linh cao quý và danh dự giữa các bậc tối thượng.
