श्रीरवाच वसामि नित्यं सुभगे प्रगल्भे दक्षे नरे कर्मणि वर्तमाने | अक्रोधने देवपरे कृतज्ञे जितेन्द्रिये नित्यमुदीर्णसत्त्वे

Transliteration

śrīr uvāca: vasāmi nityaṃ subhage pragalbhe dakṣe nare karmaṇi vartamāne | akrodhane devapare kṛtajñe jitendriye nityam udīrṇasattve ||

Translation

Śrī (Lakṣmī) nói: “Ôi người cát tường, ta luôn ngự trong người đàn ông có phúc phần và dũng khí, có tài năng và bền bỉ hành trì việc chính đáng—không sân hận, chuyên tâm phụng thờ chư thiên, biết ơn, tự chế, và thường hằng đầy đủ sattva cao thượng (sự trong sáng và sức mạnh nội tâm).”
