Inquiry into the Discipline of Fasting
प्रत्यक्ष भिन्नहृदया भेदयेयु: कृतं नरा: । श्रियाभितप्ता: कौन्तेय भेदकामास्तथारय:
pratyakṣa-bhinnahṛdayā bhedayeyuḥ kṛtaṃ narāḥ | śriyābhitaptāḥ kaunteya bhedakāmās tathārayāḥ ||
Bhishma nói: “Nếu người anh cả công khai trừng phạt lỗi lầm, lòng các em sẽ bị xé rách, tổn thương; rồi họ đem sự đối xử khắc nghiệt ấy truyền ra giữa thiên hạ. Thấy họ phú quý, nhiều kẻ thù—bị lửa ghen ghét thiêu đốt, hỡi con của Kunti—sẽ nảy ý muốn và tìm cách gieo rắc chia rẽ giữa họ.”
